The Villain's Little Cat

Chapter 317 - 317 National Meeting <3>

Every single one of them were at the peak at this period of time. From the military people under him alone, there were two of them here. The rest were people from all kind of walks in the nation who were able to become strong enough and reach rank 7 very quickly.

Even if there will be more people who reached rank 7 in the future, their standing might not be able to be easily challenged.

Because they were all people who advanced faster due to the third red rain.

Unless there will be another red rain, no one could say for sure that they would be able to advance to rank 7 within a short period of time.

“We’re here to set down some regulations in regards to the awakened, in which I would like to extend my hand for you to follow.”

“Follow?” The hooded man sneered. “Do you really think that your influence can reach so far? Even if you know our identities, can you really control us?”

“Well, if you think you can defeat a reverse healer at rank 7, you may try.” The leader smiled.

The hooded man fell silent.

.....

Kate showed a hint of astonishment when she heard what the leader said. She didn’t expect that the leader of this meeting was actually also a reverse healer. And as a reverse healer herself, she also knew the basis of the leader’s confidence.

At this point of time, if Kate wanted someone in City E to die… she just need a thought.

The white dots will definitely be released from that person’s body, allowing him to die in an instant. This kind of power was really strong and hard to prevent, which was why reverse healer was feared.

“Shall we begin?” the leader looked at the other people in the room.

They all nodded without hesitation.

While Kate was listening attentively to the new regulations, Kyle was sweeping his gaze to look at the other participants.

There were two women here, Kate and that red haired woman.

Two soldiers under the leader who were wearing uniform.

A hooded man, an aged man, and a young man who didn’t bother covering his face.

Nine people in total.

Kyle listened to the regulations and was a bit surprised. The regulations that the leader wanted to impose was not restrictive in the slightest bit. Perhaps, he also knew that it was impossible to completely control all of them.

Being rank 7 awakened, it was estimated that no one would be able to challenge them for the next few years. It will need an extremely long time for more people to grow up and able to challenge them.

The regulation was for them to impose law in their area and not to use their abilities discriminately. The leader wished that all of them could still stand under the nation and at the same time allowing them to grow up freely in accordance to how they wanted it.

The military will not stop them.

“And the last, I would like for us to have this meeting every three months.” The leader smiled. “It can be a report of your territory and also for us to do exchange in case it’s necessary. In regards to shipment and trading, I’m sure that you have some thoughts about this, Mr. Yami.”

Mr. Yami was the only man who didn’t wear any mask but didn’t wear any uniform. He laughed when the leader said that. “I have no territory as I roam freely with my group. Since we’re all of wind element, we also launched the shipping company. But so far, we can only trade in the west area.”

“West area?” The aged man looked at Mr. Yami and shook his head. “I’m in the East area. I’m afraid that I can’t use your help at all.”

Kate blinked her eyes.

She and Kyle were in the middle area, somewhat to the east. City A to City Z were all located in the central area and also the most populated area in this nation. Thanks to it being the case, they were also hit by these giant mutated animals strongly.

“I will do my best to work hard and expand the shipping range.” Mr. Yami showed an apologetic smile.

The red haired woman laughed. “I’m at the south, playing around in City AB. Since you allowed us to tag our territory, you wouldn’t mind if I claim this city under me, would you?”

“Of course not, Miss Scarlet.” The leader smiled. “I would be pleased if City AB can grow prosperous under you.”

Miss Scarlet smiled.

Kyle listened to the leader and sneered in his heart. He understood that the leader just wanted to sell favor to them by saying that the military would not bother them while in fact the military would not be able to exert a lot of forces to bother them at all.

But then again, he didn’t want to have conflict with them either. It wouldn’t do him any good to make more conflicts as he wanted to have peaceful time with Kate.

“In that case, I will take City E,” Kyle spoke out.

The leader looked at Kyle and nodded. “I understand, Mr. Kyle. City E had been registered under your father but if you would like to change it to your name…”

“There’s no need.”

“So be it.”

The aged man chuckled. “I’m already so old. I don’t have any interest in controlling the city, but I will keep your words in mind, Leader.”

“I understand, Professor Bale.”

The leader knew his two subordinate had already agreed and placed in two other big cities at the north area. The three of them would start everything from the north while the other areas were under these people.

As long as they could exist amicably together, he didn’t mind handing those areas to these people.

Anyway, the reconstruction of the cities, the growth, and so on would take an extremely long time.

Trading these all with these people would be fine.

Unless they became enemies in the future, there wouldn’t be any problem.
