Chapter 53 What?
Melanie Hessie is an actor and teacher who has worked extensively in theatre and TV. Her theatre work includes West End, RSC, Shakespeare\'s Globe, Chichester, and many regional theatres and national and international touring companies.
She has one of the most extensive portfolios among her colleagues, with more than twenty years of experience under her belt. Her only flaw is her straightforward and rude attitude; despite that, her phenomenal work is undeniable in RADA.
"I hate to say, but this time I agree with Melanie on this. It will only attract unwanted trouble with someone running on the premises with his pants down. You know how those \'nobles\' behave. "Christopher Hein, the improvisation teacher, gave his assessment.
"Yes, Principal Edith, we also have huge burden to comb through participants for the next semester. With thousands upon thousands application still lying around in the office; it will be hard to entertain an extra guest." Lucy Beckskil, Director of Actor Training, said with a concerned look.
Lucy studied at the University of Newcastle, Australia, gaining a first-class honors degree in Drama and English Literature.
She traveled to the UK in 1996 and established herself as a director, initially working at the King\'s Head Theatre and moving from there to the West End, Broadway, and the National Theatre. She founded Blue Tongue Theatre, producing contemporary Australian plays, and worked as a director and dramaturg, developing new work. Her many accolades earned her a spot for Director.
Others also nodded and agreed with Melanie and the others, but they were surprised that their concerns didn\'t faze Edith in the slightest.
"I am well aware of the troubles but I have faith that this person will not be big problem. Some of you may have heard it from different rumors about him in local tabloids; It was mostly dismissed as hoax but the Queen\'s subordinates have personally disclosed and verified his existance few minutes ago. "Edith said and paused, maintaining the air of mystery about the person\'s identity.
Everyone watched her with expectant eyes, fully immersed and curious about the person.
"Samuel Rothschilds, the recent heir of Rothschild family or The Queen\'s grand-nephew. "Edith nonchalantly revealed the identity.
"What?" several of them exclaimed, and others took a breath of cool air to subside the severity of the news.
"Are you serious? Is the rumor really true? "Melanie said.
"Yes, The rumored party that is happening in the Palace will be his debut stage; all the other details are excluded and confidential. Don\'t get me wrong, but his existence is secret to begin with, so I hope you will respect the secrecy of the whole situation. "Edith emphasized in the later part of her sentence.
"I have read about it in pop culture news. He is just a child as far as I know; no more than ten years old and the crazy part is that not a single photo is available anywhere. It\'s like a heap of poeple are working day and night to prevent it from happening." Christoper said while placing his fingers on her chin, seemingly recalling the details.
"Yes, He is a child but he is going to learn basics of acting to prepare for the upcoming audition of Harry Poter series. Apparantly, his aunt works for some high class Agency; we will know more when they visit in few days." Edith said.
"He is said to be adopted, and it is hard to dispute that claim as he sprang out overnight a few months ago. Different sources pointed to the head of the family and his wife in other hospital locations worldwide and claimed that something must have been wrong for the couple. And now, the adoption of a child confirms that they cannot have children on their own.
The child, Samuel, is said to have an ungodly appearance that the couple found on their travel and is believed to be an orphan, hence the adoption." Edith\'s assistant, Mixalis, said with strange devotion in his eyes.
Everyone stared at him like he was a madman describing his gospel and, with a strange reverence in his eyes, made him look stupid. He has an ecstatic look on in face throughout his whole speech.
"What the hell are you spouting nonsense in the middle of the meeting? How do you know all this? "Edith said, slanting her eyes which seemed to look through his folly.
"Ehh, I am a head moderator for the forum dedicated to uncover the secrets of Rothschild family. We have several thousand members dedicated for finding the truth. Beside, It fits right." Mixalis said with the same enthusiasm.
"Conspiracy theories? That is what you have been doing in your free time. No bonus for you this month. "Edith declared, which smashed his previous strong will.
"Now, I don\'t know much about it, but there is even an ounce of truth to Mixalis\'s words; we will have an easier time dealing with this. But take his words with a grain of salt as he obtains such information from shady sources. He is just a child, which should ease your previous worries about perversion; besides, the Queen gave me her word that He will not cause problems here. I will put Melanie in charge of watching over his studies while he is here and reciprocate as much as he is interested in learning. If he is not diligent, we don\'t have any duties to change that.
I know the author of the Series, and she will not accept a subpar adaptation of her book. You also have to factor in the production company; those people only care about money. So, do as much as possible and forget about the result if it is not severe. "Edith laid out her plans, but when Melanie heard her name, she grumbled to herself but stayed silent.
She knew Edith\'s personality and wanted to avoid another lecture from her.
"I could just make him quit. No one said anything about the scenario if he left himself. "She thought and smirked a little toward everyone. It is a sound plan, but unfortunately, she underestimated her opponent, which she would find out later.
Edith looked at the whole room and nodded to herself, seeing the composed expression of everyone, but she failed to notice Melanie\'s smirk. She continued--
"Ok, Always remember to keep everything discussed here a secret. Now, get back to work. This meeting is dismissed. "Edith said, which made everyone scatter away.
